No location exudes the luxury lifestyle quite like the star-studded island of West Palm Beach.

Vacation like a jet-setter at one of these West Palm Beach luxury hotels. Things to do? Drive around town in a classic car, dine at a 1930s era supper club, or book yourself an organic spa treatment.

Get a taste of the "suite" life

Book a spacious room that offers a suite, villa or bungalow option. At many of West Palm Beach luxury hotels and resorts, you'll find accommodations with separate living rooms, multiple bedrooms, full kitchens and more. This extra space is ideal for families or couples wanting more room to lounge and to enjoy longer visits in the fun and sun.

It's one and two-bedroom oceanfront suites are complete with separate living rooms, dining areas, one or two king beds, as well as ocean-facing balconies. Sip on a handcrafted cocktail like the Hemingway's Daiquiri at the posh Jové Kitchen & Bar.

The Breakers: One of America’s legendary resort destinations, this 540-room, Italian Renaissance-style hotel occupies 140 acres of oceanfront property in the heart of Palm Beach. One of the best-kept secrets about The Breakers, is the option to book a beach bungalow. Comfortably suited for eight guests, bungalows complete with services of your own personal concierge. And did you know the resort features eight distinctive restaurants and eight bars? Settings range from casual beachfront to stylishly sophisticated, including HMF, the resort’s destination for social drinking and eating, and the Flagler Steakhouse.

Each offers its own distinct charm, designed with luxurious fabrics, provincial colorations and mahogany millwork. Drive down Worth Avenue in a classic car

Remember that first car that grabbed your eye – and your heart? That once-in-a-lifetime car that captured your imagination so deeply that you’ve never forgotten it? It just might be at Ragtops Motorcars. But the difference between this speciality shop and “museums” is that, here, if you find that car you never forgot, you can drive out with it. Ragtops Motorcars is filled with posters of old movie stars from the 30’s and 40’s, neon signs blasting “Diner” and “Eat Here,” antique bumper cars, Sinclair “Dino” gasoline signs, phone booths (remember them?), a bench with “Coca-Cola Fountain Service” on it, and more white-wall tires and spoked wheels and protruding metal-bar bumpers than you can possibly imagine. Even a Shell gasoline pump upon which the price reads “39.9!” For special events, there’s a “Drive-In” movie theater, where you can watch the old classics in classic cars, while you enjoy a burger and a shake.

Dine at a 1930s-style supper club

Looking for a true foodie indulgence? Reserve a table at Angle at Eau Palm Beach, a modern twist on the traditional American supper club. A dining experience at Angle is true luxury for your palate. Originally, the idea of a super club appeared in the U.S. in the 1930s and 40s as a public dining-out experience for the evening meal, called “supper.” The menu often included steaks and seafood, in a slightly formal setting and required gentlemen to wear jackets and ties. The décor throughout the intimate dining room is both glamorous and inviting. If you're with a large group, make a special request to sit at the Onyx table. Fit for a king and queen, as well as their royal subjects, the Onyx table seats 12 to 14 and is the center piece of the room, a great place to see and be seen.

Book an organic spa treatment

A destination for rejuvenation, The Spa at The Breakers features an oceanfront location on the shimmering sands of Palm Beach. The 20,000 square-foot spa spans indoors and outdoors, combining lavish elegance with natural surroundings. Many of the spa treatments incorporate ocean and citrus ingredients indigenous to Florida. The spa offers a 100-percent organic, custom-blended facial created by aesthetician Tammy Fender. The Breakers also offers Guerlain facials, featuring the Parisian brand's luxurious skincare products and facial techniques. If you'd like to enjoy a massage in a private oceanfront sanctuary with the sea breeze and sounds of seagulls, the staff will arrange it for you.
