Seagrove
Seagrove, one of 16 South Walton beach neighborhoods nestled on the Northwest Coast of Florida, is a classic beach vacation destination known for its dazzling white-sand coastline, turquoise waters, oceanfront cottages, and laid-back, luxurious living.
Access to the beach is available through a neighborhood beach access point as well as Deer Lake State Park, home to sea turtles, endangered shorebirds, and a rare coastal dune lake. At the state park, visitors can spend time on the beach, fish, hike, and spot wildlife. For more outdoor adventures, Point Washington State Forest offers biking and hiking trails, camping, and fishing.
Biking is a popular mode of transportation in the area, and there are several local companies that rent them. Riding along the Timpoochee Trail, which runs parallel to scenic 30A, brings cyclists to several long-standing restaurants. The Old Florida Fish House, one of the community’s most popular eateries, offers seafood, sushi, and views of Eastern Lake, and Café Thirty-A, a reservations-only casual fine dining restaurant, is an Emerald Coast favorite.
Other popular restaurants just off 30A include Surfing Deer and Seagrove Village Market Café. At The Big Chill, visitors will find a variety of family-friendly food, shopping, and entertainment options. Retail therapy can also be found within the community’s boutiques and stores, including 30A General Store, which sells beachwear, souvenirs, beer, and wine, and Clay 30A, the place to go for plants, outdoor items, and garden pottery.
