Key West is paradise - and so is shopping in Key West. There's just no other word to describe it. From the water, to the laid-back lifestyle, and especially the Key West shops, it's one of my favorite places to visit.
Here's my Key West shopping guide:
Clothing Boutiques
The Green Pineapple, 1130 Duval St., is home to cool little eco-friendly treasures like kimonos, yoga mat bags, dresses, cool jewelry and more. Stop in to find a boho treasure.
Commotion, 800 Caroline St., is a boutique that specializes in unique jewelry, casual clothing and accessories for her. It’s located in the Red Doors building, which is a noteworthy spot in the city itself.
Gift Shops and Home Décor
Key West Hammock Company, 717 Duval St., is home to the original Key West hammock, as well as porch swings and other pieces of patio furniture. Bring the Key West vibe home with a trip to this store.
The Key West Sponge Market, One Whitehead St., isn’t just a spot to scoop up sponges, it’s also a museum on the history of sponging in Key West. The ones you can purchase are of the highest quality of any sponge around.
Conch Tour Train Depot, 303 Front St., is where you’ll find a host of souvenirs from Key West. There’s also an accompanying ice cream parlor to hit up after your train ride.
Margaritaville Store, 500 Duval St., is home to all things celebrating the delicious drink. As part of Jimmy Buffett’s famous brand, find memorabilia that makes the drink the city’s most popular.
Island Style, 512 Duval St., is packed with American art. Many of the pieces are one-of-a-kind and feature beach themes, making for the perfect souvenir for your Key West trip.
Art Galleries
Seven Artists, 430 Duval St., is a gallery that features the work of seven artists, who are local and the majority of which have been painting in Key West for 15 years.
Cocco and Salem, 1111 Duval St., is a fine art gallery that features more than a dozen artists and features exhibits on a regular basis.
Big Brands
Chico's, 400B Duval St., is the popular women’s brand of cool and casual apparel.
Banana Republic, 501 Duval St., is the casual brand for men and women and features accessories, shoes and more.
Lilly Pulitzer, 600 Front St., is the colorful brand of women’s and kid’s apparel that oozes Florida style.
Coach, 517 Duval St., is known for its great accessories. Check in here for a souvenir you’ll wear over and over again.
Express, 431 Duval St., is a national clothing brand for both men and women. Be sure to check out the accessories, as well.
Life is Good, 532 Duval St., is packed with smart and fun tees, hats and other casual wares that will inspire you.
Fresh Produce, 400 Duval St., is where you’ll find tops, casual dresses, colorful skirts and stylish jackets.
Earthbound Trading Company, 400 Duval St., is a cool place to find environmentally chic items, bags, outfits, accessories and more.
Ron Jon Surf Shop, 503 Front St., is the popular surf shop with boards, swimwear, accessories and other beach needs.
