Golf Digest has released its list of "Most Fun Golf Holes in America" and Florida’s very own Brooksville Country Club Hole #12 has made the list.

BCC is just an hour north of Tampa, and a bit off the beaten path. Your GPS may lead you down some gravel roads, but it is well worth the trip. The course is well maintained and designed, and the green fees are reasonable at $31-$47.

The front nine is your basic layout, but once you reach hole #12, prepare to be excited! This par four has high-low alternate fairways that run along an old quarry. In fact, the back nine has four holes which are in or cross an old quarry.  They are very dramatic, attractive, and quite different from the rest of the course.

Remember to bring your camera, because the sites are exquisite. Beware of play slowing down just a touch on the back because everyone wants to snag the perfect picture. As they say at Brooksville Country Club, "A little hard to find... but impossible to forget."
