Umatilla
Aptly nicknamed “Nature’s Hometown,” Umatilla, 45 miles north of Orlando, is nestled at the edge of the Ocala National Forest, which spans nearly half of a million acres. Alexander Springs Recreation Area, one of the most popular destinations within the Ocala National Forest, is located 13 miles north of Umatilla.
