Via the Dunedin Causeway, visitors can drive from the mainland in Dunedin directly to Honeymoon Island, making it an ideal family-friendly beach destination.
Spend time on the white-sand beach, take a rental kayak or paddleboard out on the water, and hike the island’s 2.5-mile Osprey Trail to see rare stands of virgin slash pine.
