Egans Creek Greenway

The Egans Creek Greenway, located on the northern end of Amelia Island is designated into the state system of Greenways and Trails. Consisting of over 300 acres of protected lands along Egans Creek, habitat of the Greenway includes: Freshwater Swamp, Salt Marsh and Hardwood/Mixed Forest. The natural setting, with its grass-covered trails is ideal for hiking, biking, dog walking, wildlife and nature observation and photography. The Egans Creek Greenway is also a designated stop on the Great Florida Birding Trail. After visiting the Greenway, explore the Preserve America Community of Fernandina Beach. Shop and dine in historic buildings or view the structures from a horse drawn carriage ride.
