Description
The Sarasota County city of Venice reflects its name with neo-Mediterranean architecture and endless waterways. In this resort city, beaches are known for their shark’s teeth fossils, washed to shore from ancient shark graveyards. The favorite place to hunt the specimens is around the Venice Fishing Pier.
