The World Ocean Day Family Festival will be held in the Mote Aquarium Courtyard from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. on Sunday, June 8. The festival will be free with paid admission to the Aquarium and free to Mote members; an attendance of 2,000 is expected at the event. International children’s entertainer Rosie Emery is scheduled for several performances during the festival. Additional highlights of the event will include games and crafts focused on green practices, marine exploration and conservation, facilitated by Mote and other organizations or businesses.
Event sponsors include Ameriprise Financial, AT&T, ABC 7 and SRQ Magazine.
