The Cabana Bay Resort, located within Universal Orlando Resort, features family suites and standard rooms surrounded by plenty of activities for families.
Here’s a look at what you can expect at Universal’s Cabana Bay Resort in Orlando:
Universal Cabana Bay Family Suite
Family suites at the Florida hotel, with a retro theme, feature two queen beds, a living room with a full-sized pull-out sofa bed, an oversized bathroom and a kitchenette. With enough room to sleep six people, these suites also feature walk-in closets and two televisions, providing families extra space to enjoy their vacation once the little ones are asleep.
Water Adventures
The resort features two pools. The Cabana Courtyard area features a zero-entry pool with a water slide and splash area for little ones. The Lazy River Courtyard pool has a lazy river and waterfalls, alongside the Hideaway Bar & Grill.
Refuel at On-Site Starbucks
One of my favorite places to relax at the resort is the full-sized Starbucks shop. It’s a cozy place to grab a drink and enjoy a book or just people-watch. While you’re there, be sure to check out the murals along the walls featuring the Weeki Wachee Springs mermaids.
On-site transportation to Parks
Climb aboard the complimentary shuttle bus for a quick ride over to Universal CityWalk and both theme parks. Buses depart from the front of the resort every 10 to 15 minutes, so you’ll be at the park in no time.
Galaxy Bowl
For a unique spin on your visit, check out Galaxy Bowl. This on-site, 10-lane bowling alley features big screen televisions, appetizers and snacks and great music – the perfect atmosphere for scoring a strike and having fun with your family. Challenge your family to a few games and be sure to ask about cosmic bowling held on select nights.
Tip: Resort guests can enjoy Early Park Admission to ‘The Wizarding World of Harry Potter’ at Islands of Adventure one hour before the theme park opens.
