Take a free tour of St. Augustine Distillery Co. and watch as they mix, mash, cook and distill small-batch vodka, rum, gin and whiskey in a renovated 1919 building once home to Florida's first ice manufacturing plant. You'll learn about the history of ice and distilling in Florida, see the products being made, and then taste spirits for yourself. The ingredients are local — you'll detect notes of molasses in vodka made from Florida sugar cane. There’s no charge and tours are going on all the time.
