Calling all baseball fans!

Fifteen Major League Baseball teams play in the Florida Grapefruit League each year during spring training.

Here's where to stay for spring training in Florida.

Orlando/Kissimmee Area

Atlanta Braves (ESPN Wide World of Sports at Walt Disney World Resort in Kissimmee, Fla.)

Houston Astros (Osceola County Stadium at 631 Heritage Parkway in Kissimmee, Fla.)

Where to Stay: Perfect for families, Disney's Grand Floridian Resort and Spa is the perfect resort for those who want to stay and play at Disney World. Another great property for families, the JW Marriott Resort & Spa Orlando, Grande Lakes has a lazy river, multiple pools and tons of activities. Want to go a little more luxe? The Ritz-Carlton Orlando, Grande Lakes is right next door and in between the two spring trianing hotels there’s a spa that will knock your socks off. If you’d rather be in the heart of downtown Orlando, near all the fun bars and restaurants, the Grand Bohemian Hotel is one of my favorites. You’ll love the Sunday brunch.

Tampa Bay Area

New York Yankees (George M. Steinbrenner Field, One Steinbrenner Drive, Tampa, Fla.)

Detroit Tigers (Joker Marchant Stadium, 2125 North Lake Avenue in Lakeland, Fla.)

Pittsburgh Pirates (McKechnie Field, 1611 Ninth Street West in Bradenton, Fla.)

Where to Stay: From McKechnie Field in Bradenton, cross over the Sunshine Skyway and you’ll find two of my favorite historic luxury hotels. The Don CeSar is one of my favorite properties and looks like a gorgeous pink sandcastle on St. Pete Beach. The Vinoy Renaissance St. Petersburg Resort & Golf Club is in the heart of downtown located on a marina and near shops, cafes and art galleries. Located about five miles from where the Yankees play, the Grand Hyatt Tampa Bay sits on a 35-acre nature preserve right on the water.

Clearwater Beach Area

Philadelphia Phillies (Bright House Field, 601 N. Old Coachman Road in Clearwater, Fla.)

Toronto Blue Jays (Florida Auto Exchange Stadium, 373 Douglas Avenue in Dunedin, Fla.)

Where to StayThe Sandpearl Resort on Clearwater Beach sits right on the powder-white sand of one of the most beautiful beaches you’ll ever lay eyes on. The resort is about 25 minutes from either stadium, but staying at this resort is worth the drive.

Sarasota

Baltimore Orioles (Ed Smith Stadium at 2700 12th Street in Sarasota, Fla.)

Where to Stay: Located on the bay, The Ritz-Carlton, Sarasota has every luxury you can imagine, plus it's located less than three miles from Ed Smith Stadium. Just a short 15-minute drive away is The Resort at Longboat Key Club where you can enjoy the waterfront pool or explore the Gulf waters on a paddleboard.

Fort Myers

Boston Red Sox (JetBlue Park at 11500 Fenway South Drive in Fort Myers, Fla.)

Minnesota Twins (Hammond Stadium at Lee County Sports Complex located at 14100 Six Mile Cypress Parkway in Fort Myers, Fla.)

Where to Stay: A gorgeous property located right on the harbor in Fort Myers, across from Sanibel Island, the Sanibal Harbor Marriott Resort & Spa sits on a sprawling 85-acre waterfront paradise.

Port Charlotte

Tampa Bay Rays (Charlotte Sports Park, 2300 El Jobean Road in Port Charlotte, Fla.)

Where to Stay: Full of Old Florida charm, The Gasparilla Inn & Club is stunning historic hotel located on an island called Boca Grande.

Jupiter

Miami Marlins (Roger Dean Stadium, 4751 Main Street in Jupiter, Fla.)

St. Louis Cardinals (Roger Dean Stadium, 4751 Main Street in Jupiter, Fla.)

Where to StayThe Jupiter Resort & Spa features a fabulous location right on the beach. It’s perfect for the whole family and luxurious at the same time. Sip on a cocktail or two at the pool bar and enjoy the view.

Central East Coast Area

New York Mets (Tradition Field, 525 NW Peacock Blvd. in Port St. Lucie, Fla.)

Washington Nationals (Space Coast Stadium, 5800 Stadium Parkway in Viera, Fla).

Where to Stay: Located in between the two stadiums, Costa d’Este Beach Resort is worth the 45 minute drive. The hotel is owned by Emilio and Gloria Estefan and is a luxurious beachfront escape.
