South Dade Marina

South Dade Marina is a quiet, low impact, family orientated marina which provides services for sailboat and kayak owners and enthusiasts. No power boats are permitted.

Wet storage, when available, is for sailboats up to 45 feet or so in length and 4 feet or so of draft. Dry storage is available for sailboats up to 27 feet in length or so with up to a 3 foot draft, on your trailer. Manatee Bay and Barnes Sound are both ideal for day sailing. For inland cruising the inter-coastal water way is nearby. The ocean can be reached through Angelfish creek

Electric service, at 15 amps, and wash down water (not suggested for drinking) are available dockside. A limited number of metered 30 amp outlets are also available. Live aboards are not permitted.

A series of marked kayak / canoe trails start at South Dade Marina. These trails are through shallow, pristine creeks and lakes, as well as Manatee Bay and Short Key. Paddlers may launch their own kayaks or canoes, or rent them from us or the Florida Bay Outfitters.
