Paddle Florida, Inc. is a non-profit organization that promotes water conservation, wildlife preservation, springs restoration, and waterways protection in Florida. To fulfill this mission, we stage annual multi-day paddling/camping trips in each of Florida's five water management districts. Through direct interaction with the state's waterways and educational speakers, our goal is having paddlers who attend our events come away with a deeper appreciation for Florida's natural resources. Established in 2007, Paddle Florida hosted its first trip on the Suwannee River Wilderness Trail in March 2008. Since that time, we have expanded to host events on the Silver, Ocklawaha, Withlacoochee, Peace, Wekiva, St. Johns, Ochlockonee, Choctawhatchee, and Perdido Rivers, as well as the coastal waterways of the Florida Keys, the Great Calusa Blueway in Southwest Florida, and Flagler County in Northeast Florida.
