Cedar Key Museum State Park

Historic Cedar Key, which flourished as a railroad and steamboat terminal, natural fiber center, salt-making town and pencil case manufacturing center is interpreted and memorialized at the Cedar Key Museum State Park. Part of the collection is sea shells and Indian artifacts collected by Saint Clair Whitman, the founder of the first museum in Cedar Key.
