St. James Bay Golf Course

St. James Bay Golf Course is the hidden gem of the Forgotten Coast. Just minutes south of Tallahassee, and east of the beaches of Cape San Blas and St. George Island, this Robert Walker design is a pure joy to play. Walker worked closely with Audubon International to create a course in complete harmony with nature, carved through the native marshland and coastal vegetation indigenous to the area. This meticulously manicured 18-hole championship course provides golfers with risk reward options on almost every hole. Abundant opportunities to take on forced carries will test your course management, but you can always play it safe and lay up away from the danger.

Wetlands and water hazards are present on every hole with bunkering fashioned to accentuate the landing areas and contour the layout. St. James Bay can be a real challenge for skilled golfers who dare explore the back tees, but is still remarkably enjoyable for golfers of all abilities.

All golf carts are equipped with GPS systems to show the entire hole and expose any hidden areas. The practice facility features a full driving range, chipping green, practice bunker, and two putting greens. The pro shop includes apparel, accessories and rental clubs for our golfing guests. Golf instruction and club repair are available from the Professional Staff.
