The 323-seat Crest Theatre, housed in the restored 1925 Delray High School building at Old School Square Cultural Arts Center, is a professional “road house” offering national tours and other world-class entertainment in an intimate setting. The Main Stage Series presents musical theatre, dance, and comedy (November-April). The Broadway Cabaret Series features New York’s hottest stars (January-April). The Robert D. Chapin Lecture Series features notable, national speakers (January-April). Old School Square is a National Historic Site also housing the Cornell Museum of Art & American Culture (c. 1913) and Vintage Gymnasium (c. 1925). The newer Entertainment Pavilion presents outdoor concerts and hosts all of Delray Beach's major festivals. Programs are sponsored in part by the Palm Beach County Tourist Development Council, the Palm Beach County Cultural Council and the Florida Arts Council.
