Cornell Art Museum
Step into the unique galleries of this charming, historic school building (c. 1913) located at Old School Square Cultural Arts Center in the heart of downtown Delray Beach, one of Florida’s hottest destinations.The Cornell Art Museum strives to show nationally and internationally recognized, contemporary artists who create innovative and provocative works of art. Inquisitive visitors enjoy intriguing pieces of artwork while discovering new artists and styles. The Museum exposes the greater Delray Beach and South Florida communities to artwork that is culturally relevant and exciting, hoping to foster creativity and inspire imagination.
General Admission is $8; $5 seniors/students; free for Veterans, Old School Square Members and ages 12 and under. Old School Square is a National Historic Site also housing the 323-seat Crest Theatre (in the former high school building, c. 1925) and Vintage Gymnasium (c. 1925). The newer Entertainment Pavilion presents outdoor concerts and hosts all of Delray Beach's major festivals. Programs are sponsored in part by the Palm Beach County Tourist Development Council, Palm Beach County Cultural Council, and the Florida Arts Council.
