Waccasassa Bay Preserve State Park

Only accessible by boat. The preserve is only a small remnant of what was once the vast Gulf Hammock. The over 32,000-acre preserve borders Florida's gulf coast between Cedar Key and Yankeetown. Most of the area consists of salt marsh dotted with picturesque wooded islands.
