Baytowne Golf Club at Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort
Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort is home to four award-winning golf courses: Raven Golf Club, Baytowne Golf Club, The Links Golf Club, and the semi-private Burnt Pine Golf Club. As the only resort in Northwest Florida named to both Golf Magazine and Golf Digest's Best Golf Resorts in North America, and the only place in the world with course designs by the famous Jones brothers, Rees (Burnt Pine) and Robert Trent Jr. (Raven), Sandestin is a must play for any serious golfer. But, with multiple teeing options, the golf experience at Sandestin is also an enjoyable one for all skill levels.
Baytowne Golf Club opened in 1986 and was redesigned in 2005. Upon reopening. Baytowne was certified as a U.S. Kids Golf Family Friendly course. Golf Digest has awarded 4 1/2 Stars to Baytowne the last four years in its Places to Play rankings.
This esteemed course is now even more popular after an extensive renovation in 2005 by original course designer, the legendary Tom Jackson. Now offering one of the most sought-after golf experiences in the crowded field of courses in Northwest Florida, the Baytowne Golf Club has twice been hailed by Golf Digest’s Places to Play with a stellar 4 ½ stars ranking. Routing here will take you from the beach to the bay and features some of the only elevation changes in the area.
Excellent for all skill levels, the Baytowne course is as forgiving from the forward tees as it is challenging from the championship ones. The course also offers a fifth set of U.S. Kids junior tees, making great play for beginners, kids, or getting in a quick afternoon round. Baytowne Golf Club plays 3,002 to 6,804 yards. Baytowne Golf Club is located at 1199 Troon Drive, Miramar Beach, FL 32550 and can be reached at (850) 267-8155.
