Relish Sunshine in February with a Florida Vacation -- February 15-22, 2020
In the darkness of mid-February, just as winter up north gets ready for another freeze, Florida boasts clear skies and an average high temperature of seventy-six degrees. Add the South Beach Wine & Food Festival®, outdoor adventures, cultural excursions, and just the right amount of free time, and you have the recipe for Trouvaille’s South Florida small group tour.
Delicious food is a cornerstone of this Florida vacation, with a choice dining experience each night. On days five and six of our tour, the South Beach Wine & Food Festival® can be as good for education and celebrity sightings as it is for incredible food. Glimpse one of your favorite Food Network stars and learn something new as your taste buds take the grand tour.
Beautiful weather and excellent food call for outdoor adventures. View Miami Beach, Florida from the top of the Cape Florida Lighthouse, followed by your choice of beach, shopping, or sightseeing along the Miami Beach Boardwalk. Another day, view three separate Everglade ecosystems by airboat. Turtles, herons, and alligators live in abundance throughout these wetlands. At the end of our day through the Everglades, animal lovers can choose to hug a baby alligator.
As with all of Trouvaille’s small group tours, once you arrive at West Palm Beach, Florida, we take care of just about everything. Included in your tour package are lodging, welcome gifts, transportation to all events, entry fees and tickets for all group activities, one South Beach Wine & Food Festival® special event worth up to $150, all breakfasts and lunches, dinner on the night of arrival, and a farewell dinner the night before departure. You also get an expert host from start to finish, our enthusiastic and experienced Paul Hardersen. Transportation to and from West Palm Beach is not included.
In addition to taste delights and outdoor adventures, we take in some of Florida’s cultural and scientific sights. Day four of our tour takes us to the NASA Kennedy Space Center, where we can explore the history of the space program, as well as see what the future offers. Get up and close to a real space shuttle, as you tour with our expert host and actual planetary scientist, Paul Hardersen.
The Vizcaya Museum and gardens is a palatial Miami Beach villa, built for the late James Deering. With vast rooms and majestic columns, this slice of European-style architecture rests right on the water. Day three, it is also our site for an elegant lunch.
Warmth, relaxation, and stylish dining comprise the essence of our Florida vacation. Curious to know more? Review the full plan for each of the eight days with our detailed itinerary. Book now to guarantee your place.
