We have a fantastic city just south of us named after a city in Italy – VENICE! This culinary walking tour takes you along streets that are rich in architecture and history. Learn about Thomas Edison’s frequent visits there and the early social life of Venice, how the intracoastals were dredged, how the Megalondon (meaning “big tooth”) swam in local waters over two million years ago, and why (we think) Ponce de Leon died nearby – WHEW!
Of course a key component of Key Culinary Tours is the delectable food, and we enjoy several stops at Venice restaurants and specialty shops along the way. Our food samples are enough for a meal and your tour is peppered with interesting and fun facts about the area and its history. This food tour is truly a delicious way to learn about Venice, Florida and its creative cuisine scene.
All tours by reservation only. Please note that all food tours require a minimum of four people. This does not mean one party must book four individuals, but that our total headcount achieves the minimum. We will notify you if we have not reached this capacity and will always strive to accommodate our valued guests!
