Nov 17, 2018

12:00 PM - 1:00 PM

375 Sanctuary Rd W
Naples, FL 34120
(239) 348-9151

Murray Barnhart, Corkscrew Volunteer Naturalist and Live Snake Ambassador, will talk to visitors about these intriguing creatures in the Corkscrew Swamp Sanctuary Blair Audubon Visitor Center.

Meet and greet one of our ambassador snakes and learn about the importance of snakes in the environment, including their role in the Sanctuary’s habitats. For those adventurous visitors, you will be able to see these snakes up close and even get a chance to safely touch them while they are handled by our trained docents.

Corkscrew has several snakes, baby alligators, and other creatures that are used for education purposes to teach about these creatures while enabling participants to look at their environment with a holistic view. Important concepts such as habitat, interdependence and adaptations are reinforced throughout the program.

Location: Corkscrew Swamp Sanctuary's Discovery Center, in the Blair Audubon Visitor Center.

Event Time: All snake talks are from noon to 1 p.m. on the upcoming dates listed below

There is no additional charge for this program beyond the Corkscrew admission fee. Click for admission fee details.

While this event is free, space is limited, so please pre-register via Eventbrite.
