Hang with celebrities, chefs, and cooks at the South Beach Food and Wine Festival for culinary demonstrations and tastings. Tour the Everglades via airboat, see alligators up close and personal, and learn about swamp ecology. Tour the NASA Kennedy Space Center and Astronaut Hall of Fame to learn of America's past and future space adventures. Not to mention the time we will spend relaxing, reclining, and enjoying South Beach and the area's cultural, art, and dining hot spots.

The price for the trip includes: your Trouvaille host, lodging, welcome gifts, transportation to all events, entry fees and tickets for all activities (Everglades tour, South Beach Food & Wine Festival, NASA Kennedy Space Center), one South Beach Food & Wine Festival event worth up to $150, all breakfasts and lunches, dinner on night of arrival, and a farewell dinner the night before departure. Airfare is not included.
Day 1: Arrivals, airport transfers to hotel, hotel check-in, welcome reception/gifts, and a group welcome dinner at Tony Roma's.
Day 2: Breakfast, transit to Everglades, enjoy three airboat tours of the Florida Everglades and get up close and personal (but safely!) with alligators, which is courtesy of Captain Jack's airboat tours (https://www.captainjacksairboattours.com/). Return for dinner at the renowned Smith and Wollensky restaurant (https://www.smithandwollensky.com/our-restaurants/miami-beach/) in the Miami Beach area with fabulous ocean views and excellent food!
Day 3: Enjoy a relaxing breakfast before returning to the Miami Beach area for a day of exploring to your heart's content! We will first head to Key Biscayne and visit Bill Baggs Cape Florida State Park, which will include climbing the Cape Florida Lighthouse steps all the way to the top and glimpse truly fabulous views of Miami Beach and the surrounding area. We will then go north on a short drive to visit the Vizcaya Museum & Gardens, a truly elegant Miami Beach residence for the late James Deering, tour the facilities, and savor a noontime lunch.
The afternoon will be spent at the Miami Beach Boardwalk where you will be let yourself roam and do whatever catches your fancy. Maybe it's a little bit of beach time, maybe it's time to get your shopping on, or maybe something else altogether, you'll have a few hours to wander around before we reconvene for dinner at the La Cote Mediterranean Oceanside Bistro at the Fountainbleau Miami Beach Resort. More stunning ocean views during dinner!
Day 4: Breakfast, transit to NASA Kennedy Space Center, spend the day exploring the Kennedy Space Center with tours, plus a visit the Astronaut Hall of Fame. We'll return to the Palm Beach area and enjoy dinner at the Bimini Twist local restaurant (http://www.mybiminitwist.com).
Day 5: Now it's time for the penultimate South Beach culinary event of the year! Attend opening day events and presentations at the South Beach Food & Wine Festival (http://corporate.sobewff.org/). On today or any of the days at the Festival, chose your special event (worth up to $150) to attend and see your favorite foodie celebrity! You'll then have the day to enjoy all that the Festival has to offer. We'll meet up in the late afternoon and decide where we want to have dinner ~ if we're still hungry!
Day 6: Breakfast and transit to attend the second day of the South Beach Food & Wine Festival.
Day 7: Breakfast and transit to attend the third day of the South Beach Food & Wine Festival. We will have a departure dinner at PB Catch (https://www.pbcatch.com/), not far from the beach and ocean.
Day 8: Departures, transfers to airport.
