At Patricia Ann Dance Studios you can take a picture with “Rhythm”– one of the most animated dolphins on the Trail and the official mascot of the Florida Tap Dance Project. Saint Petersburg-Clearwater has always been an incredible location for dolphin watching. It is the place to meet America’s most famous dolphin, Winter, the dolphin with no tail. And now it is also the place to encounter Rhythm, the dolphin with tap shoes for tails.
After the Tap Dance Festival you will want to stay an extra day to grab your swimsuit and visit Saint Petersburg-Clearwater Honeymoon Island and Caladesi Island State Parks. The 2nd Annual Dunedin Tap Dance Festival takes place the weekend of September 13th- 15th,, 2019. The free to the public event will include a Friday evening Tap Dance Jam Session - “Tap on Tap”, at the Dunedin House of Beer, free Saturday tap dance workshops sponsored by the Tap Dance Ambassadors of Florida, and culminates with evening performances in Pioneer Park that are open to the public at no charge.
