Retired in early 2005 in which we celebrated with a European trip starting in Germany. We drove to Geneva, Switzerland and took a train trip with a 2 night stop in Paris, France then we passed thru Belguim, a 1 night stop in Ambsterdam, and then back to Switzerland where we then drove to the Swiss Alps with an overnight stay in 5 star Zermott and boarded the trolley to the Matterhorn. With our car loaded on another train we zipped back to Germany by way of tunnels thru the Swiss Mtns. Back at home we did a cross country adventure in our 5th wheel exploring the wonderous USA, up to Quebec, Canada and a two week caravan trip to El Golfo, MX. We visited most of the National Parks including the Glacier Bay National Park when on an Alaskan cruise. During our 13 month home away from home me and my wife Joan took our 2nd trip to the Hawaiin Islands and took a couple cruises to MX. the first winter on the road we spent in various parts of Arizona, second & third winters in Rockport, TX. our future plans are to settle down some and remain at Emerald Isle, NC in the summer and spend our winters in Winter Haven, FL to split our time enjoying the Gulf of MX, being a big kid at Disney World, exploring all Florida's State Parks with their little know springs and taking an occassional cruise from one of the FL ports to the Bahamas or Mexico. But 1st we want to take in the west one final time, this time we will leave our 5th wheel behind and staying in timeshares. We are leaving from FL in Oct, Nov to South Padre, TX then off to CA in mid Nov with a 2 week trip to Cabo, MX, then it's Christmas & New Years in Sedona, AZ and then it's back to TX to retrieve our 5th wheel and final destination to FL.
