Sarasota is largely becoming the arts capital of Florida. On par with major theaters in the United States, the city is attracting performers from all around the world to entertain and inspire a crowd. In this video, you’ll hear from the Asolo Repertory Theatre Director Michael Edwards about Sarasota’s “extraordinary concentration of artistic expression” including the Sarasota Ballet Company and Ringling College of Art and Design. A Ringling student will also give you a quick tour of the campus and you’ll find out about Selby Gallery, a professional on-campus exhibition known as Sarasota’s premier gallery for contemporary visual arts.
