What is RSS?

RSS stands for Real Simple Syndication, and it enables just that. Web content on news sites, blogs, and www.VISITFLORIDA.com changes regularly, and it can be difficult to keep up with it all. RSS allows you to see abstracts of your favorite content in one place, so you can avoid visiting and sifting through dozens of websites. It's kind of like having the newspaper delivered to your door instead of buying it from a newsstand.

By subscribing to a VISIT FLORIDA® RSS feed, you'll be able to keep up with the latest stories on your favorite Florida experiences, such as beaches, golfing, spas, amusement parks, historical attractions and so much more.

How do I get started using RSS?

To receive RSS "feeds" (content), you'll need an RSS reader. Readers range from straightforward to highly customizable. Some are even paired with personalized homepages. The easiest to operate are web-based, meaning that they don't require a download and are easily accessible from any computer. Just sign up, create a username and password, and you're on your way.

To have VISIT FLORIDA® RSS feeds delivered to your RSS reader, simply click on the link of your choice in the list above and select your reader from the list. Then let the fun begin, as you receive brand new www.VISITFLORIDA.com content, the instant it's added to our site. Here are some web-based RSS readers that we find useful:
