Antique Association of Arcadia
 
                   Arcadia, Florida is a truly bright, special town. The Historic District, built in the 1800's, has 25 wonderful antique stores along with restaurants and specialty shops.  They are all on 4 blocks of West Oak Street. Antique dealers and collectors from all over Florida and other states flock to the famous ANTIQUE FAIR which is held the fouth Saturday of every month.  Most stores are open daily.  You can park your car and shop all day and it will take all day.  Our stores offer a wide variety of items:  primitives, folk art, military, glassware, books, pottery, furniture, jewelry, and numerous other items.  Since there are so many antique dealers here in Arcadia it is always a treasure hunt to find what your are looking for . People enjoy strolling down the street, sitting on the bench having a wonderful desert from the ice cream shop, or a piece of pie from one or our several home town resaurants.  Arcadia is also host to our famous RODEO.  We are near the Peace River which offers canoeing, camping and fishing.  Come spend the week at one of our great bed and breakfasts'.  Arcadia, centrally located, at the crossroads of 17 and 70 is not far from Sarasota and Port Charlotte, Florida.
