Providing residents and visitors with information on all the visual and performing arts, museums, historical, science and natured based organizations, festivals and events available throughout the year. It is the primary source for information on experiencing art, sun and cultural fun in Palm Beach County, "Florida's Cultural Capital®." The Cultural Council in downtown, artsy Lake Worth, offers visitors: an interactive cultural information center; a Uniquely Palm Beach Gift Store featuring creations by local Palm Beach County artists; exhibition space for the visual arts; a business center for the cultural community; and a meeting area for workshops, films and performances. Public hours are Tuesdays - Saturdays, 10am-5pm. The Council is closed on Mondays but sometimes holds additional opening hours during special events held downtown. There is always helpful Guest Services personnel in the attractive lobby to provide customer service to every visitor. Read Less
