Come kick off your summer at Sandestin for Memorial Day Weekend. Live music begins on Friday and lasts all weekend long. Enjoy bands on the Events Plaza stage from 7-9pm each night. Cool off on the Roaring River Water Slide from 10am-9pm on Saturday and Sunday! Children's activities will be featured in the Events Plaza from 6-9pm on Sunday night, and then we will light up the sky above the lagoon with a patriotic fireworks show at 9:15pm. On Monday, the Village will host a Memorial Day program right before sunset, presented by Sandestin veterans, including a special brass band performance brought to you by the Northwest Florida Symphony Orchestra. The weekend of August 9-12, Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort will be the place to be for music lovers of all ages when the first ever Sandestin Music Festival hits multiple stages throughout the resort.

The Annual Destin Triathlon will lure 800 participants for a half-mile Gulf of Mexico swim, a 20-mile bike along the coast, and a 4-mile run through Sandestin's beach and bayside community. Proceeds benefit Sacred Heart Hospital of the Emerald Coast.

The Village of Baytowne Wharf welcomes the fresh fall season under the moonlight with a weekend good for the art and soul with world-class art and live music in the Village Events Plaza. Exceptional artists featured in the area’s leading galleries from across the southeast will gather for this three day festival featuring the best of the best in the world of art.

This fall join running enthusiasts as they run through Sandestin's beach and bayside community. Proceeds benefit Habitat for Humanity. Updates will be sent out via newsletter. On Friday, from 4-8 pm Packet Pick-up will be in the lobby at The Grand Sandestin. Saturday, in The Village of Baytowne Wharf the Race Day Packet pick up will be available, the Half Marathon and 5k Run start, and the Post Race Party. Welcome Santa to Baytowne and cheer him on as he lights the Village Christmas Tree. Stick around for a preview to our new, choreographed light show, 12 Nights of Lights, and watch as fireworks light up the sky over the lagoon. Make a lantern, with Abrakadoodle, for the upcoming Baytowne Lantern Parade as you enjoy a choir singing your holiday favorites! And last, but not least, visit Kris Kringle himself! Prepare to let your hair down on what many call the most festive day of the year, Fat Tuesday, the day before Ash Wednesday. “Laissez les bon temps rouler” (let the good times roll) with the 11th annual Fat Tuesday Baytowne Bash Parade rolling through Sandestin. Yell “throw me something mister” as unique and colorful floats, golf carts, and pick-up trucks roll down the streets and marchers dressed up in all their Mardi Gras best shower parade-goers with a barrage of beads, moon pies, and other trinkets. The post-parade celebration continues into the night with street performers, “throws” tossed from balconies on Main St, and parties at various Baytowne establishments.
