The area has some of the best light tackle backcountry and saltwater flats fishing that the state of Florida has to offer, and using light tackle is angling at its best. There are miles of shoreline, oyster bars and acres of sea grass flats that attract an abundance of saltwater game fish. The water in this area of Florida is very shallow. That is why Captain Leo uses a highly specialized flats boat to access the flats and backcountry waters our Florida gamefish frequent.
