A limited number of visitors are allowed to visit the preserve each day by canoe. It is a 13.5-mile canoe trip through the preserve, which offers primitive camping for overnight stays. Campers wishing to camp overnight at the preserve must supply their own vessel. The park has 120 additional campsites.
