The Kumquat Festival is an event of regional impact that  consists of a celebration of "the little gold gem of the citrus industry - The Kumqat".  This familly friendly, wholesome, "old Florida" experience features  handmade arts and crafts, distincitve food vendors, live entertainment and, of course, Kumquat Pie!!   The Kumquat Fesitval is held in historic downtown, in Dade City, the last Saturday in January, and celebrates the Kumquat, grown in the area and our status of Kumquat Capitol of the World. It is a Southeast Tourism Society Top 20 Event.
The Dade City "Cruise in Car Show" is held the first Saturday of every month (except July and August) in beautiful, historic Downtown Dade City - under the oaks of our 19th century Courthouse.  Free admission - come and shop, eat and enjoy a quite, gentler pace.
