Every third Friday of the month, the Fossaner Museum of Art hosts Jazz Friday in their galleries. Expect great music from local favorites. Admission is free for members of the Museum and $10 for non-members.

Every Saturday at 10 a.m., the Enchanted Forest Sanctuary hosts a 45-minute guided nature hike is offered. Hikers should bring hats, water, and walking shoes. Located in the southern limits of the City of Titusville, the Enchanted Forest Sanctuary preserves a diversity of natural habitats. Several miles of hiking trails allow visitors to enjoy the natural beauty of the region.

10:00 a.m. in the Galleries Museum Mondays are the third Monday of each month, with the exception of December at the Foosner Museum of Art. Programs begin at 10:00 a.m. and are free to the public. Light Refreshments are served.

Each 3rd Tuesday of the month, the City of Cocoa's Porcher House host a tea and lunch from 11:30am-1:00pm. Come out and enjoy great food, friends and live entertainment! Tickets are $14.00 per person.

Heidi's Jazz Club has been the number one hangout for jazz lovers and jazz musicians on Florida's Space Coast since Heidi and Eddie opened the club in 1992. They feature live music every Tuesday through Sunday with featured performers on selected Friday and Saturday evenings and Heidi's Open Jam Session every Sunday evening starting at 7 PM.

Hosted by the Eau Gallie Arts District, First Friday Art Walk invites everyone out to a plein-air celebration of art, music and food. Friday Fest in Historic Downtown Melbourne is a family-oriented event that includes art, craft and business vendors, lots of great food, beer & wine, a children’s activity area! Sink your teeth into 16 prehistoric beasts that come to life for a limited time at Brevard Zoo’s newest exhibit opening in 2012. Travel back in time more than 65 million years and explore the world of dinosaurs through the ages. As you travel through the exhibit, your mission is to find the living dinosaur! From February 18 to May 28, opens daily 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Last admission 4:15 p.m. Zoo members get in early starting at 9:30 a.m. Cost is $5 per person and Zoo members receive $1 off admission. Memorial Day weekend will mark the 5th anniversary of the largest GLBT pride festival on the Central east coast, the Space Coast Pride Festival! Drawing thousands of revelers, this one day event will feature live entertainment, musical bands, great food, refreshments, kid's zone and tons of vendors! Space Coast Pride festival is presented by The Living Room of Brevard, Inc. a 501(c)3 public charity as its major fundraising event. Proceeds are used to support organizations throughout the county and for the building fund for a community center. Boo at the Zoo is the Brevard Zoo popular family friendly fall event! Running for three weekends, it's a monster smash of fun. Activities include a haunted trail that is not for the faint of heart and recommended for children 10 and older. For the younger kids, enjoy Ooz Draverb, a carnival-like play area with dancing too. The event will feature the Boo Choo train ride, a costume contest, witch's lair, and trick-or-treating at more than 30 treat station sponsored by local businesses and organizations. The first weekend, admission will be $8 per person. The second and third weekend admission will be $10 per person. Zoo members will receive $1 off on all admission prices. Children under 2 are FREE. The Ghostly Gecko 5K is a Halloween-themed race that's sure to be a blast! This night time race winds through the streets of historic Eau Gallie on the shores of the beautiful Indialantic River. Wear a costume because there will be a Best Halloween costume contest. Goodie bags will be given to all finishers and food will be provided by Squid Lips afterwards. There will also be a random giveaway of Halloween Horror Night tickets and 1 hotel night stay for 2. Fort Christmas travels back in time twice a year with the Militia Encampments. The weekend event features re-enactment soldiers who set up camp in front of the Fort and tell about the 2nd Seminole Indian War. Programs at 12:30pm and 2:30pm in the Fort. Musket and cannon firing demonstrations.

In the Fall of every year, the ArtWorks of Eau Gallie Fine Arts Festival centers around the Highland Avenue area of Eau Gallie. This two day 'plein-air' art show in its tenth year showcases the talent of both local and regional artist from around the state of Florida. The public should expect fine art, live music and food. The Space Coast Art Festival Turkey Trot 5k is a popular race that coincides with the Space Coast Art Festival. Start time begins at 7:30 AM. Established by the Eau Gallie Rotary Club, the Space Coast Lightfest is a holiday themed drive-through event held at Wickham Park. It is a family oriented celebration featuring shimmering lights and dazzling animated displays (drawing over 15,000 vehicles annually).

Join the City of Cocoa as they light the Riverfront Park Christmas Tree. Live entertainment, visit with Santa, play in the snow and enjoy a holiday movie! Admission is FREE to the event.

The 49th Annual Space Coast Art Festival is one of the premiere art shows in the Southeast. The show not only draws some of the finest artisans in the nation, but thousands of attendees over the festivals two-days. In its 41st year, the Space Coast Marathon just gets bigger and better! This space-themed USTA marathon is ran on one of a beautiful, scenic course located along the banks of the Indian River Lagoon. Featuring 14 space-aid stations, the Space Coast Marathon is a Boston Marathon qualifier and attracts thousands of runners from around the world. Registration is available up until November 25, 2012.

Florida EcoSafaris at Forever Florida presents a brand new family holiday adventure like none other. Cocoa's Family New Years Event is a family friendly event which takes place every year in Riverfront Park in Downtown Cocoa Village. Admission Free. Some cost associated with certain activities.

Nance Park in Indialantic, Florida, the 23rd Annual Indialantic Art Festival attracts thousands of art lovers to it’s scenic beachside location , a virtual outdoor gallery, showcasing life-size sculptures, handmade pottery, spectacular paintings, one-of-a-kind jewels, photography, and much more! The Space Coast Birding & Wildlife Festival is planning to be the biggest and best for 2013. Event coordinators have gathered together a group of experts in the fields of birding and wildlife to serve as Keynote speakers, to teach in classrooms and host wildlife, nature, technology, cultural/historical and photography field trips. For 2011, they have added new field trips and classroom presentations geared toward more local subjects, which will be an opportunity to learn about and appreciate Florida and Space Coast areas that are less-known or traveled. There will also be activities for children as well.

The State Farm Melbourne & Beaches Music Marathon Weekend makes for a perfect warm winter running destination. Held a month after the Disney Marathon, this rock-n-roll music marathon will feature more than 20 musical acts all situated along its half and full marathon courses! This marathon may sound like fun and games...well it is..but its serious business! It's run on an USATF-certified course with CHRONO timing. And its also one of the last qualifiers of the year for the Boston Marathon. Both walker and headphone friendly, the marathon also features an elite field of Masters runners with $8,000.00 of the event's $15,500.00 cash purse going to top finishers in the men and women 40 & over Masters group. $2,000 ($1,000.00 for each race) of the event's total purse of $15,500 will be awarded to competitors in the Florida Today 5k and 8k races. The Crowne Plaza Melbourne Oceanfront is the event's host hotel and site of the Expo and packet pick-up the day before the race. This beachside hotel ffers a great beachfront and is near many restaurants and its located about two miles from the start and finish line.
