Cruise in Car Show

Presented by the City of Sanford, the free monthly concerts are held outside in Magnolia Square from 4 – 7 pm through the months of September to May. The Square is located on 1st Street in downtown Sanford. On street parking as well as a public lot are available. Take a stroll to enjoy the shops or have a special evening at one of our award winning restaurants or wine bar, all within walking distance.

The Lake Monroe Sailing Association invites all sailors members and non- members to participate in a Wednesday Night Rum Race sponsored by Malibu Rum!

We invite you to join us in beautiful downtown Sanford for the biggest monthly street party in Central Florida. We start the party at five and it lasts until eight, always on the second Thursday of the month. Thousands come out to charming downtown Sanford and savor the samples of food, beverage, and live music that is included in the $7.00 admission charge. Visit us at the Welcome Center on First Street when you are in town. Alive After Five is from 5-8 PM on 1st Street, Park Ave & Palmetto Avenue. The Spotlight Theater is having their next production Alice, The Musical. Rumor has it that some of Geneva's young thespians will be in it! This timeless classic is wonderfully retold in a creative combination of dance, narrative, and drama. The Friday and Saturday shows begin at 7:30 PM and the Sunday show will be a matinee at 2 PM. Enjoy a free Country Concert with music from one of Central Florida’s hottest country dance bands. Performances, chicken wing eating contests, and mechanical bull riding are some of the activities that will fill the night. Fans can enjoy the tastes from various food vendors. As always, there will be giveaways so be sure to visit the vendor booths!

Lake Mary's Food Truck Crave Bringing you an event the whole family can enjoy. A variety of food trucks and local vendors will be available. Come and enjoy a delectable treat and browse through the local merchants' shops. Spend time wtih the family in the picnic-style environment and get to know your neighbors.

Street Parade

The Food Truck Bazaar visits Sanford on the 1st Saturday of each month at the parking lot behind the courthouse at Palmetto Avenue and Seminole Boulevard in downtown Sanford. YOU MUST BRING YOUR OWN CHAIRS.

One Love CaribFest Too busy to visit the Islands? We are bringing the Caribbean to Cranes Roost Park in Uptown Altamonte. Enjoy great island music, authentic island food and island culture. The event is free and open to the public. Featured musicians include: Biznis, Mystic NRG, Muzekal Seduction, and Jahnesta. For more information call 407-844-9765. Friday Night Live Come out to Cranes Roost Park and enjoy great live entertainment in a beautiful outdoor setting. Friday Night Live is a free concert series, open to the public, which showcases top local artists who perform Jazz, Pop, Big Band and Contemporary music on a weekly basis. Tonight's featured artist is DEJA.

Join us on the 2nd Friday of each month from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. for an exciting evening of jazz at Lake Concord Park (95 Triplet Lake Drive, behind Casselberry City Hall) for a free Art & Music in the Park and Food Truck Bazaar event. There will be a live jazz performance and a large variety of artists displaying their art throughout the park. This family-friendly event provides a great opportunity to get people in the community to come to a relaxed setting, view art, hang out, and chat with people they haven’t seen in a while. A group show introducing new work by the studio artists. The multi-artist show is an exciting blend of varied media. A tropical reception is planned for opening night.

The City of Longwood will host the “Downtown Longwood Cruise In” car show from 5:00 – 8:00pm in the historic district of Longwood off of Church Ave. There will be spectacular car displays, good food, vendors, and a D.J. for the event. For more information, go to www.longwoodfl.org

Experience the sights and sounds of the Zoo at night during this exciting nocturnal adventure! Enjoy light refreshments in the Discovery Center and up close animal encounters. Fascinating night life will come to light as we venture into the Zoo for a guided flashlight tour and explore the Zoo after dark. The fifth annual Seminole County Adventure Race (SCAR) returns to Katie's Landing this Father's Day as we help you celebrate the holiday together. The SCAR is a perfect race to compete in with your dad whether you are bringing him out or he wants to share it with you. Last year's race had a little of both as many teams included dads with their sons & daughters of all ages working together in the beautiful surroundings along the Wekiva River. A July 4th family-oriented extravaganza full of live entertainment, games, family activities and concessions, the Festival on the Fourth culminates with one of the largest fireworks shows in Central Florida. The festivities take place along the city’s brand-new RiverWalk overlooking Lake Monroe in historic downtown Sanford. Admission is free.
