The Conservancy Nature Center, 1450 Merrihue Drive, Naples. While the Conservancy Nature Center is undergoing many “Sustainable Campus” renovations, estimated to be completed late 2012, guests can still enjoy electric boat cruises to the Gordon River, hourly eco-programs for all ages, a “mini” Nature Zone with an interactive near-shore Touch Tank and other live animals. Designated as Site #69 on the Great Florida Birding Trail. Once completed, the 21-acre Nature Center will contain a new Discovery Center, Wildlife Rehabilitation viewing, an interactive Learning Lab and new Conservation Hall --- all of which will follow sustainable building practices. Nature Center re-opens in mid-2012, with a full grand re-opening of the entire campus in early 2013. Monday – Saturday, 10:30 AM – 4:30 PM.  More details available at www.conservancy.org or call (239) 262-0304.
