MORADA WAY ARTS & CULTURAL DISTRICT
As residents, we are all proud of the sense of community we enjoy while living in our island paradise.  At the Morada Way Arts & Cultural District, we seek to improve the quality of this experience by providing a rich cultural environment for our families and visitors.
The Morada Way Arts & Cultural District is a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) [pending IRS approval] Florida Corporation.  Our mission, in part, is to increase awareness, knowledge and support of the arts and the unique culture of the upper Florida Keys.  
Since we have no salaried employees, we rely on the enthusiasm, creativity and dedication of our committed volunteers.  We are always seeking new Volunteers!
The cultural programming offered by our District is funded primarily by Member and Supporter businesses, as well as individual Patrons.  
Each month the District holds the Third Thursday Walkabout from 6 - 9 p.m.   Gallery Morada, Pasta Pantaleo Signature Gallery, The Redbone Gallery, The Matecumbe Studio Gallery and Bluewater Potters all stay open late and invited artists line the streets with their artwork.  Civic organizations and non-profit groups as well as talented musicians join locals and visitors during these festive evenings. 
Sponsored by Ocean Sotheby’s International Realty and set in a warm tropical paradise, the Islamorada Fine Art Expo is creating new standards in its nationally marketed inaugural event on January 21-22, 2012.  Join us in the meeting of sophisticated art collectors and nationally acclaimed artists!  The Islamorada Fine Art Expo will provide music and fine dining options to its audience throughout both days.  Located in the heart of Islamorada at Mile Marker 81.5, the Expo is walking distance from several of the Florida Keys' finest hotels at the height of the season.  Please visit www.islamoradafineartexpo.org for more information.
