Lifelike Sculptures to on Display in Historic Downtown Plant City Plant City Photo Archives & History Center (PCPA) will have eight sculptures on loan from The Sculpture Foundation in Santa Monica, CA. From the "Man on the Street" collection of acclaimed artist J. Seward Johnson, the life-size sculptures depicting scenes from everyday life in America, on display through July, will be placed around downtown Plant City to coincide with the opening of the PCPA’s Smithsonian exhibition, “Journey Stories.” Journey Stories is a traveling Smithsonian exhibit chronicling America's history, from colonial immigration to westward expansion to the abolition of slavery. Through photos, audio stories, artifacts, and first-hand accounts from travelers, the interactive Journey Stories exhibit documents these times. PCPA will host the exhibit for six weeks May 26 through July 7, and welcomes field trips, scouts and tour groups. Follow them on Twitter at @PCPhotoArchives.
