Bayview Plaza Waterfront Resort - St. Pete Beach

Not really worth it. Much better places surrouding this location.

3rd stay and better every year: This has been our third year the Bayview Plaza Waterfront Resort, and we had another enjoyable stay. Every year we come we can see something new. The owners are always reinvesting in the property and that keeps us come back as well as many of the people we talk to. This year the hotel has been repainted, and a fishing pier was improved with new decking. They also bought the small hotel next door that really opened the courtyard up, and now offers another fishing pier and another pool. You always see Robert and his wife Mary on property, as well as their parents. It’s a great family resort, ran by a great family. They really make you feel at home. I know once you try it, you will be back just every year just like us.

This was our second stay at the hotel, and it was just as good as our first. The rooms were clean and the rates are unbeatable for all that you get. We always see the owners working on property and imporving the site, which makes us feel good about coming back. This time we noticed the new plasma tv in the fitness room, and the new deck for the fishing pier. This is our new home away from home.

Bayview Plaza Waterfront Resort was a relaxing peaceful small resort. We had everything we needed; our room was a Bayfront with Balcony which included a Queen bed, full kitchen and balcony overlooking the water. We had a 1st floor balcony that opened right onto the water and fishing pier, because we fished it was more convenient for us. As a guest of the Bayview Plaza Waterfront Resort you are also a guest of the Bay Palms Waterfront Resort, so we were able to use the fishing pier next door as well as the pool. Both properties are well maintained and the rooms are clean. There were two people with boats as well, so if you choose to, you can bring your boat or come by boat. Next door there is a coffee shop and restaurant as well as many restaurants in walking distance. The beach and beach activities are just across the street. For a great fishing trip or just a quiet trip to read a book and watch for Dolphins and Manatees, the Bayview Plaza Waterfront Resort is perfect.

We stayed here over Valentine's Day weekend and both my girlfriend and I loved it. Don't let the online prices fool you, just give them a call and see how much the rooms are going for. We got a pretty good deal on our room, which overlooks the bay. It was cool to watch sailboats go by on the bay and get out to the open water underneath the drawbridge. Our room was clean and spacious, but we didn't spend too much time in there. During the day we went across the street to the beach and got some much needed sunshine. There is plenty of shopping near by also. The entire street up and down the island is a tourist resort so you can just hop around. At night we hit a few bars and there is a taxi company right there on the island that took us around and it didn't cost much. I would recommend this place for people on a budget.
