Driftwood Lodge

Simply step out your door and you are in the midst of the most memorable part of The Driftwood Lodge: the grassy, palm shaded courtyard directly on the Gulf of Mexico. Wrapped around the heated pool and sun deck, the courtyard is where guests find themselves making new, and often lifelong, friends. During a typical day, you will find a family picnic, a sand castle contest or beach volleyball game. Throughout the year they have many different acivities. Memorial Day - Labor day they serve watermelon and follow it up with children's games. In the spring, there is a weekly cookout, Easter Egg Hunts and sand castle competitions. In the fall, there are weekly cookouts and sunset celebrations. Spring through fall join in the courtyard for "Movies under the Stars". The Driftwood is located 1/4 mile east of Pier Park. Pier Park is the premier shopping district in Panama City Beach. It offers shopping, dining and entertainment directly across the street from the beach and the city boardwalk and fishing pier. Additionally, the Driftwood Lodge is located one mile from Frank Brown Recreational Park. Frank Brown Park hosts softball, soccer, swimming and tennis tournaments throughout the year. In July, Frank Brown Park hosts USFA national championships.
