I'm a freelance writer and videographer, and spend most of my days exploring Florida's natural wonders from a kayak, a bike or rambling down a hiking trail. A Florida native living in Citrus County, you'll often find me watching the boats go by on the Homosassa River. I'm always sharing stories, photos and videos, so follow along and together we'll discover Florida's natural treasures.

I'm putting together a bunch of videos from my recent trip to the Tallahassee area, so keep checking back for some cool stuff in the near future!
While in the area, I got to spend a little time in the St. Marks National Wildlife Refuge, where there were still some monarch butterflies migrating south to Mexico. St. Marks is a major stopping point for the monarchs, and there's even a popular annual festival celebrating the event. If you're near Tallahassee, make sure to set aside some time to explore the St. Marks National Wildlife Refuge. It's simply an amazing place!
