I'm a freelance writer and videographer, and spend most of my days exploring Florida's natural wonders from a kayak, a bike or rambling down a hiking trail. A Florida native living in Citrus County, you'll often find me watching the boats go by on the Homosassa River. I'm always sharing stories, photos and videos, so follow along and together we'll discover Florida's natural treasures.

Got binoculars? Like birding? Then head out to the Blackwater Heritage State Trail near Milton for a bird walk this Sat., Oct. 3. October is Florida Greenways and Trails Month, and to celebrate there will be statewide events all month long. Look for more blog posts coming up with more event news and reminders!
The bird walk at Blackwater Heritage State trail is put on in partnership with the local chapter of the Francis Weston Audubon Society, and will kick off at 8 a.m. at the Munson Highway parking lot and picnic area, east of Milton.
