I'm a freelance writer and videographer, and spend most of my days exploring Florida's natural wonders from a kayak, a bike or rambling down a hiking trail. A Florida native living in Citrus County, you'll often find me watching the boats go by on the Homosassa River. I'm always sharing stories, photos and videos, so follow along and together we'll discover Florida's natural treasures.

So, you watched the video and read my last post about the bear sighting in the Ocala National Forest. I really should start this post out like one of those television infomercials (but wait, there's more!)Â since I have another video from that day.
Thinking that the bear sighting was the end of my wildlife spotting for the trip, I headed around the loop leaving the Salt Springs Observation Trail, and a wild rabbit hopped in front of my vehicle and proceeded to munch on some grass a few feet away! This little guy actually let me get out of my vehicle and get really close without jumping into the bushes. So, two short wildlife videos in less than three minutes! Not bad.
Here's the wild rabbit video. Hope you make it out to the Ocala National Forest sometime - the wildlife viewing is pretty good!
