I'm a freelance writer and videographer, and spend most of my days exploring Florida's natural wonders from a kayak, a bike or rambling down a hiking trail. A Florida native living in Citrus County, you'll often find me watching the boats go by on the Homosassa River. I'm always sharing stories, photos and videos, so follow along and together we'll discover Florida's natural treasures.
Come one, come all to the last open house for 2012 at Three Sisters Springs! Event is this Sat, Feb.11: http://t.co/CYi515em

You know how they say, "A picture is worth a thousand words" right? Well, that makes me wonder how many words a video is worth!
There's so much cool stuff going on in Cedar Key that I thought I'd share a couple of videos with everyone. The first one is a plane ride that took us up and around Cedar Key and the surrounding area for a bird's eye view! You can really get a feel of how all the other islands around Cedar Key are situated from the sky.Â
The second video is from my kayaking trip to Atsena Otie Key with Brack Barker of Wild Florida Adventures. I didn't want to give too much away in the video so you have to experience the tour for yourself! The Cedar Key area is an amazing place to paddle. There's so much unique Florida history and natural beauty there that you really can't fully capture with photos and video. Do yourself a big favor and plan a trip to Cedar Key and see it in person!
Here's the videos:
