I'm a freelance writer and videographer, and spend most of my days exploring Florida's natural wonders from a kayak, a bike or rambling down a hiking trail. A Florida native living in Citrus County, you'll often find me watching the boats go by on the Homosassa River. I'm always sharing stories, photos and videos, so follow along and together we'll discover Florida's natural treasures.

Last week I shared with everyone a story about reconnecting with some old friends on a paddling trip. Well, I've sent out a bunch of the "Share A Little Sunshine" videos, and guess what? I've gotten back several emails from old pals! The videos work!
It's really cool to talk with old friends after several years. Some of these guys live out of state, some live nearby. Some have families and have moved on to careers in law enforcement and office jobs, while others have built upon all the old adventures we used to share and still most of their time outdoors. One old buddy is a river guide, and another is a park ranger. I guess it's only natural, seeing as how much time we spent exploring the rivers and trails of Central Florida.
We've been talking about getting together in the future about a North Florida camping and paddling trip, probably along the Suwannee River Wilderness Trail. Sounds like a good time to me!
Anyway, I just wanted to remind you about www.ShareALittleSunshine.com, and encourage all of you to make new adventures with old friends!
