I'm a freelance writer and videographer, and spend most of my days exploring Florida's natural wonders from a kayak, a bike or rambling down a hiking trail. A Florida native living in Citrus County, you'll often find me watching the boats go by on the Homosassa River. I'm always sharing stories, photos and videos, so follow along and together we'll discover Florida's natural treasures.

Do you miss the good 'ol days, when family was close by and friends seemed to be ready for a trip at a moment's notice? Unfortunately, the currents of life have a way of sweeping those dearest to you on to other paths, leaving those cherished get-togethers a distant memory. Remember those weekend camping trips that were filled with adventure and family barbecues where sometimes embarrassing and crazy stories are told?
It's time to rekindle those relationships, and all you have to do is visit ShareALittleSunshine.org to reconnect with your friends or family and make new memories! All you have to do is choose one of three video messages, enter in your invitation details, and you are on your way to reforging those old ties on a Florida getaway!
By sending the invitation, the recipient will also receive awesome deals on hotel stays, restaurants and attractions. You, the sender, will be entered into a drawing for a chance to win one of 12 Florida getaways, like seven nights in a four-bedroom vacation home! How cool is that?

I've recently reconnected with a few old buddies from the past, when things seemed much simpler, and life didn't feel as complicated. Several of us used to do these wild weekend canoeing adventures down the Ocklawaha River, paddling for most of the day. We would stop wherever a good, sturdy cypress tree would reach out over the river, climb up onto a limb, and jump off into the water! Sometimes it took a little convincing and some name-calling to get each other to jump, but those made for great stories later at camp. We'd sit around a campfire late into the night, laughing and trying to downplay any awkward tree jumps. Who knew those weekends would make for such lasting memories?
Get on over to ShareALittleSunshine.org and meet up with some old friends for a new adventure in Florida's outdoors!
