Busch Gardens to Open 'Sesame Street Safari of Fun' in 2010

A sneak peek of Sesame Street Safari of Fun Credit: Busch Gardens
I’m so excited to tell you about a brand-new destination to open at Busch Gardens in 2010. It’s called the ‘Sesame Street Safari of Fun’ and it will be a sunny, funny playland featuring all our favorite Sesame Street characters that we know and love like Elmo and Big Bird.

In addition to Elmo and his friends, at Sesame Street Safari of Fun you'll find rides, shows and adventures that celebrate the spirit of Africa:Â
- ‘Air Grover,’ a junior roller coaster that parents and kids can ride together.
- A splashy flume ride called ‘Zoe-Patra & the Hippos of the Nile.’
- Rosita’s 'Djembe Fly-Away’ is a swing ride that sends kids whirling above the African canopy.
- ‘Elmo’s Safari Go-Round’ is a tribal-inspired carousel with Elmo and friends.
- ‘Oscar’s Swamp Stomp’ will offer a great way to cool off with lots of water fun.
- ‘Bert & Ernie’s Water Hole’ is another wet adventure filled with bubblers, geysers, jets, dumping buckets and more.
- A photography studio where kids can share a hug with Sesame Street friends.
- 4-D theater called ‘Sesame Street presents Lights, Camera, Imagination!’
You and your kids can even share breakfast and lunch with Elmo and the rest of the characters on certain days at an outdoor dining facility that’s right next to this new playland.
