This is exciting news and a well-deserved win! The Florida Aquarium has taken the top spot in the Nick's Parents' Connect vote for best attraction in Tampa.
The Florida Aquarium is awesome! If you've never been, it's an indoor aquarium with like 20,000 aquatic plants and animals. They have a giant octopus, a shark tank, river otters and those amazing leafy sea dragons (which really look like underwater dragons)!
They also have an enormous, two-acre outdoor area where kids can get wet in their Explore A Shore outdoor discovery zone. There is a water slide, water sprays and misters, tunnels, nets and a big pirate ship (24 feet to be exact). Just bring a towel and a change of clothes and let them have some great fun!) NOTE that this outdoor area will be closed for maintenance most of September.
Congratulations to the Florida Aquarium on this big win! It's hard to please parents when it comes to entertaining their kids and this place is a winner for sure. For more info, visit their web site.
