acksonville is celebrating the 40th anniversary of the Apollo Mission, this Saturday, July 25 from 10 a.m. till 4 p.m. Bring your family and take part in a 'Day of Total Luna-See' which will include all kinds of special crafts, planetarium programming and more.

Here’s the schedule for the Day of Total Luna-See:Â

11 a.m. - Larry Cat in Space ($1 charge)
This program is popular with the younger kids and documents Larry the Cat’s unintentional trip to space with his astronaut owner.Â
Â
12 p.m. - Space Rocks ($3 charge plus $1 for glasses)
Put on your 3-D glasses and experience a multimedia cosmic concert with laser lights with space-themed music.                                            Â
2 p.m. - Apollo Moon Landing Discussion & Trivia
Join in on a discussion and trivia game on the Apollo mission led by MOSH’s Planetarium Manager.

3 p.m. - Documentary Viewing
Explore NASA’s current mission to the Moon in this documentary that specifically examines the Lunar Crater Observation Sensing Satellite (LCROSS) and Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter (LRO). Â

While you’re there, check out
Dino-Roar! This exhibit features all kinds of dinosaurs with amazing animatronics. You’ll even see a family of triceratops. Admission to MOSH is $9 for adults, $7.50 for senior citizens and military, and $7 for children ages 3 through 12. There is no admission fee for children 2 and under or Museum members. Have a blast!
